The wait is over, Razors just dropped a brand new SL style skate. Alex Burston, UK shredder has been killing ti as of recently, so Razors proudly introduced his first pro skate, the Razors Burston SL Skates. Your standard SL (Super Light) Style shell, that comes in an awesome shade of slate blue. These skates come setup with a Razor SL Cuff and slate blue buckles to match. Ground Control Featherlite 2′s and the Jug Liners make this skate super legit, ready to roll out of the box. Be sure to check out some of the extra info, pictures, and edits below:
Alex Burston from Manchester, England is one of the fastest rising stars in the European skate scene. Over the last 2 years he was winning various contest such Laced, Chosen Few and Boneyard Jam in England, Ghetto Games in Latvia, Open Street Comp in Moscow and the Pony Cup in Denmark. He was touring hard and putting out killer edits. His GC section showed the world what we already knew: Burston is here and here to stay. To celebrate the hard work and dedication Alex has shown we are proud to bring you his first pro skate.
The Alex Burston comes with GC FLT 2 frames a new Jug liner with increase padding in the cuff and tongue, his own signature wheel from BHC and ABEC 7 bearings.
The baseless boot design provides a super close contact to the ground and is much more responsive than traditional skates. The replaceable backslide plate is perfectly grooved and aligned with the groove of the frame.
Features:
- Ice blue SL boot with white and grey accents
- High density boot material for long lasting support
- Baseless boot design for responsiveness and perfect control
- Replaceable, pre-grooved backslide plate
- BHC 57 mm/90A wheels
Probably the coolest feature of this skate. I always thought some of the older model SL (Super Light) style skates were just a wee bit clanky, meaning that they didn’t have the most solid sound when you landed. Well with the new Razors Burston SL Skates that is a thing of the past, they put a cloth rubber shock absorber in between the soul frame and the shell of the boot, this reduces some of that annoying noise while land, making the skates vastly more solid.
